Europe in under 2 hours...

Located right near the Atomium, Mini-Europe is the only park where you can have the abridged tour around Europe in just a few short hours.  You can see Big Ben, the gondolas of Venice, take your picture with the Eiffel Tower, see an actual piece of the Berlin Wall, and much, much more.

Unfortunately, we had been making plans to visit the ACTUAL Eiffel Tower, but those plans didn't pan out.  Seeing as how I have not been to the real thing yet, I wouldn't be sure, but I wager to say that this pales in comparison.  However, there are rumors that Mini-Europe is on it's way out, so we are glad that we got the chance to see it.

I have to take a moment to laugh...
One of the first weekends after we moved here we traveled to Antwerp to go to the Zoo.  After we paid and entered the Zoo we were tackled by two men dressed in Monkey suits.  They had a photographer with them to take your picture, but if you attempted to take a picture with your camera they would turn and try to drag the kids with them so as to screw up your picture.  There was also a mascot at Mini-Europe, with a photographer who attacked you upon entering.  Apparently there is power in numbers because between Jason, Gina and myself we managed to peep a shot...
